fastwrite is available for macOS & Windows, and as a web version for iPad, Chromebook, and all other devices.
Which AI models does fastwrite use behind the scenes?
fastwrite is built on the latest large language models, which we have optimized specifically for academic writing. We combine these models with advanced document analysis developed specifically for academic texts.
How does fastwrite work?
The add-in analyzes your uploaded documents and understands their content. As you write, it suggests fitting phrasings, content, and citations. If no sensible suggestion is possible based on your own literature or our paper database, you get a generic suggestion without a reference.
What happens to my data?
Your documents are stored securely on our servers and analyzed exclusively for your personal use.
Is there a risk of plagiarism when I use fastwrite?
fastwrite was built to avoid plagiarism. The tool automatically detects when you use content from your sources and inserts a reference right away. That way you make sure every adopted idea and passage is properly attributed. The AI also helps you phrase content in your own words instead of copying it directly.
